Made of 3mm plywood.
For 1/8″ material thickness, increase all parts by 6.6% (3.2 / 3 = 1.066)
I also use 2mm toothpicks to connect the 4 pieces of the cam clamp and also use a 3mm bamboo skewer as the axle for the cam.
The archive contains a set of images illustrating the process of assembling the lamp parts.
ATTENTION !
Before starting cutting, I recommend buying the electrical part of the lamp: lamp socket, wire, switch, plug.
There is a hole in the ceiling for the lamp socket, which may have to be adjusted in diameter!!!
The table lamp is assembled from a different number of parts of different lengths. See last image.
The main parts are the lampshade and parts A – D. To connect the main parts, ties of different lengths are used, which depends on the number of parts to be connected.
The eccentrics consist of 4 layers. They differ in the thickness of the part of the part in the clamped position.
ATTENTION !
Try cutting out one set of eccentrics and see how tight they are on the main parts of the lamp. If you need to create a tighter pressure, try moving the hole for the eccentric axis on the drawing a little further from the edge of the tie closer to the parts to be joined or stick several thin strips of self-adhesive paper or tape on the circles (parts of the ties).
EXAMPLES:
Dog lamp = Plafond – 1 pc, detail A – 2 pcs, detail B – 4 pcs, detail C – 2 pcs, tie for the plafond – 1 pc, tie for 5 details – 2 pcs.
Giraffe lamp = Plafond – 1 pc, detail A – 2 pcs, detail B – 3 pcs, detail C – 2 pcs, tie for the plafond – 1 pc, tie for 5 details – 2 pcs.
Lamp Ostrich = Plafond – 1pc, detail A – 2pcs, detail B – 5pcs, detail C – 2pcs, coupler for the ceiling – 1pc, coupler for 5 details – 1pc, coupler for 2 details – 4pcs.
Detail D – if necessary, depending on your imagination)))
